Responsibilities:

• Coordinate work flow of reconditioning of vehicles under direction of Sales Managers (i.e., for the lot, new and sold units, occasional service vehicle)

• Assist Sales Managers in overseeing the quality of training and motivating employees to meet company performance standards.

• Assist management with interviewing and hiring of qualified applicants.

• Create work schedule for detailers under direction of Sales Managers.

• Ensure proper coverage of department when Detail Lead is absent.

• Periodically or as directed, conducts property and equipment inspections noting any maintenance needs/repairs and notifying management.

• Maintains proper ordering and chemical inventory levels.

• Ensures Detail area is a safe place to work and visit.

Requirements:

• 1+ Years experience in Automotive detail/reconditioning
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have Valid Driver's License
• Must pass Background Check and Drug Screen
• Must possess good time management skills and e able to multi-task
• Must possess skills to operate a manual transmission
• Have excellent Customer Service Skills

*Up to $22,500 bonus for Chrysler Level 3 Techs with 2-year commitment

Job Description

• Confer with customers or service advisors to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, and to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements.

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

• Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.

• Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

If you can accomplish the job duties above, you've got what it takes.  Qualifications include:

• One (1) to three (3) years of experience as a Certified Toyota technician required

• CDK (ADP) computer experience preferred

• Experience working at a Toyota dealership preferred

• Excellent customer service skills required

• Must pass Background and Drug Screen
